Really looking forward to what I know will be an inspiring collagraph workshop with Sally Hirst at Cley, I have created collagraphs in the past but want to use them as a stimulus for more abstraction in my work. I love the plates as much as the prints and often use these as works of art in their own right. Hope to share some new images with you very soon! Watch this space!!!

I attended the wonderful Brush With the Broads with my friend Pauline. It was a wonderful few days of plein air painting and quality demonstrations by well known plein air painters Haidee Jo Summers, Adebanji Adebola and Mo Teeuw.

I had some great visits with the Yr 5/6 class using watercolour and mixed media techniques! The lovely GoGo Dragon the pupils of Fairhaven Primary School created, was a pupils design that they painted beautifully and I was able to oversee! Very gorgeous she is too! She visited my studio for a good varnish. Our dogs did not know what to make of her!

Tried to capture my favourite dandelion clocks. Lots of flicking of paint and placing of cling film to create illusion of leaves and flowers It has a romantic cottage garden feel I think. Hope you like it!
